¡¤ June 21, 2002.
¡¡During the 32nd meeting of the 12th Congress of Nanhai, it was decided that on June 21, 2002, more than 20 members of the CPC NSC would inspect our center's construction. On June 21, 2002 the center was inspected. Mr. Chen Qengqiu and Mr. Liao Tianfa, the Director General and Deputy Director General of the Nanhai Civil Affair Bureau respectively are the superintendent leaders of our center. They introduced our center's construction, actual developmental status through the past two years and the aim of our centers long-term plans to the members of the CPC NSC.
¡¡Guan Zexing, the head of the CPC Nanhai Standing Committee, made a keynote speech. The Nanhai region municipal government and many associated departments have done a great deal of work for social relief concerning the livelihood of people and the support of social welfare institutions. He stressed that the Standing Committee should call on the government to strengthen their support for the welfare institutions of Nanhai.

¡¤ July 27, 2002.
¡¡Fore days before Army Day on July 27, 2002 more than 20 soldiers of the Foshan County Archibald Corps provided voluntary labor to clean and decorate our center for the upcoming festival.


¡¤ Aug. 29, 2002.
¡¡On August 29, 2002. the adoption registrar and all heads of the Welfare institution held a meeting in our center£®A branch meeting on adoption training class for registrars and the heads of Welfare institutions was held in the Nanhai Welfare Center. The Deputy Director General and Director of the Social Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong Province, Mr. Zhan Xiulan and Mr. Zhang Yuanxing respectively, were the instructors. More than 20 people attended the class, including Deputy Director Generals of Foshan downtown Civil Affairs Bureaus, the Supervising Operation Directors of Adoption, the Adoption Registrars, the Masters and Vice-masters of the Social Welfare Institutions.
The instructors used tutorship, symposium and conversation during the meeting to further strengthen the adoption register's management skills and to co-ordinate the welfare institutions, consolidate the Social Welfare Affairs managerial levels and further all adoption registers' professional skills.

¡¤ Aug. 15, 2002.
¡¡On Aug. 15, 2002. The Communist Youth League members of the Guidan Road Ruohu Tollgate provided voluntary labor to our center.

¡¤ Aug. 28, 2002.
¡¡On Aug. 28, 2002, more than 30 Committee members of the Nanhai People's Political Consultative Conference were led by their chairman Li Jinxi and Mr. Wan ZhiKang the main head of the Nanhai Region. Accompanied by Mr. Chen Qengqiu and Mr. Liao Tianfa, the Director General and Deputy Director General of the Nanhai Civil Affairs Bureau inspected our center. The Deputy Director General Liao gave a detailed introduction on our center's improvement, long-term programming and the developmental project to the leaders.
¡¡Mr. Wan Zhikang made a keynote speech to strengthen the social security system. He called for the support of all social circles to facilitate the construction of social welfare. Chairman Li of the Nanhai Government Office commented that the Nanhai Region Municipal Government had done a great deal of work for social welfare and has achieved a great effect. He called on the Nanhai Government to continue developing ideas, make more attempts and provide the means to make the Nanhai Social Welfare Affairs better and better.
