Character
----Our
center is the first multifunctional, multipurpose, open
social welfare institution in the Nanhai Region. It
is an excellent example of the social institutions of
China.
Functions
---- We
have 8 functional departments, which include: Care Center
for the Elders, Recovery Center for Veterans; Recovery
Center for the Disabled; Community Entertainment Center
for the Elders, Children Welfare Center; Paralyzed Veterans
Institution, Veterans Hospital and a School for the
Disabled Children.
Services
----We
provide professional services of Medical Treatment,
Recovery, Elder Care, Child Fosterage, Health Care,
Educational Service to Enlighten the Mentally Challenged,
Psychotherapy, Education, Terminally ill Care Round-the-Clock
Nursing etc. for the disabled, the orphans and the abandoned
infants.
Combined with medical treatment, we constantly develop
scientific research for elders and the disabled.
Programs
---- Referring
to the Grade 2 National criteria for the welfare institution,
our center consists of an Administration Department,
Medical Treatment Department, Residential Home For The
Elderly, Rehabilitation hospital and Child Welfare Department.
It covers an area of 33,000 square meters with the construction
area of 23000 square meters. All the buildings have
been designed in a beautifully landscaped holiday village.
The design strictly conforms to the national criteria,
which includes The Norm of Construction Projects
for the Elders; The Norm of City Roads and Construction
Projects to Facilitate the Disabled and The Programming
Norm of an Urban Residential Area. To date our
center possesses 700 beds, among which 400 are for the
elders, 200 for the Child Welfare Department and 100
for the Rehabilitation Hospital.
